I was brought into the company when non-essential stores started re-opening, post-pandemic. The main focus was the design of a new Christmas brochure, which was a very important step going forward for the store and to bring some magic back into shoppers' lives after the restrictions.
I discussed options and themes with the M.D. and the Visual Merchandising team, and an Elf theme was favoured and developed to create the brochure, in-store graphics, window display and grotto graphics.
The brochure was sent to 10,000 homes in and around Windsor and was very well received by customers, who also had a chance to book limited availability entry tickets for their children to see Santa in his grotto. This was a sell-out, despite the social distancing measures. Happy Ending :)
